About the Scholarship

Dr. Neil Riordan, PA, PhD has pioneered advancements in stem cell research and treatment, paving the way for new possibilities in medical science. Now, it’s your turn to make an impact. We are proud to offer $55,000 in scholarships to students committed to pursuing education in regenerative medicine.

Academic Program and Standing

  • Enrollment: Must be enrolled (part-time or full-time, as you prefer) in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in nursing (RN/BSN, MSN), medicine (MD, DO), physician assistant (PA), or a related health sciences field.

 

  • Year in Program: Must have completed a minimum of one year of study in their current program.

 

  • GPA Requirement: Must hold a minimum GPA (e.g., 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale).
 

Demonstrate Interest in Regenerative Medicine

  • Relevant Coursework or Research: Preference given to students who have taken classes or conducted research in areas related to regenerative medicine (e.g., tissue engineering, stem cell biology, gene therapy, wound healing, etc.).

 

  • Extracurricular Involvement: Involvement in student organizations, clubs, or community outreach programs that are focused on regenerative medicine, innovation, or related emerging medical technologies.

 

  • Conference Participation: Attendance or presentation at relevant conferences, workshops, or seminars (e.g., regenerative medicine, cellular therapy).

 

  • Shadowing or Clinical Experience: Preference for applicants who have shadowed professionals working in advanced therapeutics or have done clinical rotations in areas of regenerative medicine.
 

Personal Statement or Essay

  • Career Goals: Must submit an essay or personal statement (one page maximum) describing their interest in regenerative medicine, why they see it as crucial to the future of healthcare, and how they plan to integrate regenerative therapies or research into their career.



  • Nursing Students: One $5,000 scholarship
  • P.A. Students: One $5,000 scholarship
  • Nurse Practitioner Students: One $5,000 scholarship
  • M.D. Candidates: One $10,000 scholarship
  • D.O. Candidates: One $10,000 scholarship
  • Ph.D. Candidates: One $10,000 scholarship

Neil Riordan, PA, PhD is one of the early pioneers and experts in applied stem cell research.
