Described herein is a chemokine receptor which binds to MIP-1?a, RANTES and/or MCP-1, methods and uses thereof. Further disclosed are properties and sequences of the polypeptides encoded by the nucleic acid molecules comprised within the vectors. Therapeutic applications include the screening of agents which may be used in the treatment of asthma, hay fever, eczema, allergies, atopic dermatitis, rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
