Described herein are methods of destruction of tumor cells in stem cell grafts via the use of a bi-specific antibody comprised of intact antibodies. The invention relates to a procedure for the destruction of contaminating tumor cells in stem cell transplants ex vivo using intact bispecific antibodies capable of binding to the T cell receptor complex of a T cell, to tumor-associated antigens on a tumor cell, and to Fc-receptors of accessory cells via the Fc part of the antibody, under specific conditions. Methods of preparation, redirection, destruction and reinfusion are disclosed. Therapeutic applications in the treatment of patients suffering from cancer are included.
